Come into my parlor….

Welcome! A couple of years ago, I started writing this blog under the title, “Tori’s Stories” believing I’d write about the historical/contemporary romances I was busily writing at the time. My life took a different path soon after and the blog ended before it began. Real life issues sidetracked me from writing for a while.

Now, I’m back with both a different perspective on life and a different trajectory for my writing. To update you, those changes led to me penning my memoir Been There, Done That…Had the Smashed Up Face to Prove It. As I’ve said in the About section of this blog, I’m currently seeking the right literary agent to represent me. Until that happens, I’ll be free-forming it here on Calla’s Comments and having a good time doing it.

Like most of us, I have lots to say about all kinds of things so don’t be surprised by anything I toss out there. What I won’t comment on is politics, negativity, and celebrity gossip for starters. I know those things are out there; but, they aren’t in my wheelhouse. They also get enough press without me joining the fray so I won’t.

What my comments will include is snippets from my book, introducing myself a little more as we go along, any generalized crazy crap that enters my mind I want to share, my interest in the supernatural (no, it’s not what you think), the antics of my two nut-buggery fur babies, and snippets from my second yet-to-be-written nonfiction book. There will probably be an excerpt or two from those yet to be rewritten historical romances locked away on my crashed hard drive twenty-five years in the making.

I make no promises not to be all over the place with my posts. While I’m laser focused when I have a project to finish, chaotically pursing whatever catches my fancy in my downtime is my happy place. I hope it’s yours, too.

As I bring this page to a close, please come back. I’ll be updating at least once more this week. Maybe twice. I can’t tell you when. I can tell you my second post of the week will be up by Saturday night. After that, I’ll post at least once a week. Maybe more. That depends on what I have to share.
